Dora Bakopoulou – Michal Nesterowicz

It is a great pleasure to greet the Polish eminent maestro Michał Nesterowicz once again to the orchestra's podium. The highlight of the programme he has chosen to conduct is the imposing third symphony by the French composer Camille Saint-Saëns, the so-called Organ Symphony, as well as a new work by the dynamic Greek composer Dimitrios Skyllas inspired by a tragic event from Greek history: the Dance of Zalongos. Dora Bakopoulou puts her proven sensitivity and ever-exquisite musical taste at the service of Ravel's celebrated Piano Concerto.
