We and the world VΙΙΙ

Fri. 20 May 2016 20:30

Megaron – The Athens Concert Hall
Christos Lambrakis Hall

By listening to Shostakovich first symphony, it is hard to imagine that such a fullness of action and esthetic precision can be found in a 19-year old person's work! Ekhard Wycik, the internationally famous conductor from Germany interprets it, while in the second part of the programme, Vasilis Varvaresos, one of the most eminent pianists of his generation interprets Tchaikovski's concerto.
