Lycabettus Theatre
Under the direction of the acclaimed conductor Elias Voudouris , the Orchestra collaborates with two internationally renowned Greek opera artists: soprano Myrto Papathanasiou and baritone Dimitris Platanias . Together, they promise a magical journey into the world of opera, with arias from leading works of the international repertoire, which highlight the passion and virtuosity that make opera a timeless art form.
In one of the most atmospheric theaters in the heart of the city, with the backdrop of summer Athens and under the starry Attic sky, the Athens State Orchestra continues to consistently serve its high artistic vision, offering the audience great musical experiences. The Athens State Orchestra's Opera Gala is one of the top cultural events of this summer and a unique opportunity for the audience to enjoy great voices and symphonic sound in an imposing natural environment.

Lower tier: 40€, 35€, 30€ and 20€. Upper tier: 15€ and 10€ (concessions)
Access Information: Access to Lycabettus Hill during the days and hours when events are held at the Lycabettus Municipal Theatre is free for pedestrians and motorcycles. Motorcycle riders may park in the designated parking area by following the instructions of the staff. In order to respect the natural environment of the hill and avoid traffic congestion in the surrounding area, access by car to the Theatre parking area is permitted only for people with disabilities, individuals over the age of 60, and taxis for passenger drop off and pick up.
At the same time, the Municipality of Athens provides visitors with free shuttle bus transportation operating on circular routes to the Theatre from 19:00 to 21:30, departing from Sarantapichou Street at the turn toward the Lycabettus path. Schedule times may be adjusted depending on the events.
After the end of each event, the shuttle bus will also serve audiences descending from the Theatre. Priority will be given to elderly visitors, pregnant women, and people with mobility or other difficulties.
