Summer, you rise amidst the colors of your sunset

“Summer, you rise amidst the colors of your sunset,” writes Dionysis Savvopoulos, thus capturing the charm of a season that brings forth light, memories, and emotion. Taking this poetic image as its starting point, the concert weaves a dialogue between music and the spoken word. The musical works will be accompanied by readings of selected prose and poetry excerpts inspired by summer, highlighting its many facets: nostalgy, love, sea, light, and carefree spirit. An evening where notes and words coexist harmoniously, inviting the audience on a sensory journey brimming with images, emotions, and summer memories.
